Xemnas chuckled deeply right behind Xigbar. "Axel, too."
Xemnas glanced back at the door, then lowered his voice, speaking quickly to not let Naminé hear what he was saying. Letting her know she was being used, and that Xigbar was placed under even more orders he hated, would be counter productive...
"If she is so obsessed with you, Two, make yourself useful and use her against Sora. She'll do anything you ask her to, I imagine. The witch has shown no interest in anyone else, and here she would walk across glass for you. Were it not that she was a nobody, I may even say she loves you. Keep her close, and we can make use of her after all. I will be monitoring your... reconditioning her."
How do you solve a problem like Naminé? Use the Freeshooter, apparently... and orchestrating good cop/bad cop while mocking both of them was too good an opportunity to pass up. It seemed that the longer he went, the better ideas he had... therapy, now this. Xigbar couldn't refute the usefulness of this. It was obvious, was it not?

"What about the severe mental scarring, Superior?" With this, his voice got louder, as if to let Namine hear. "I MEAN, CURB-STOMPING PUPPIES IS NOT A VERY GOOD THING TO DO." With that, he walked away, probably leaving his answer said. With one last turn, and a snicker, he said, "And we all know who Saix is gay FOR." He then spun on one heel and started walking.

"Then your mentality will match your face... and you'll receive a taste of what you have put all the others through," Xemnas answered calmly, tacitly ignoring Xigbar's retort. Was that even a retort? It sounded akin to the 'classic' 'Oh yeah? Well, you stink!' reply given when the other ran out of material.
"Unlike you, Saix is useful. Make yourself so, Xigbar."

"Why would I WANT to get back what I probably deserve?" Xigbar said with a slight sneer. "And useful for what? Going crazy, being your lapdog, and baking cookies? I could do that if I wanted to." Xigbar's expression then went blank. Xemnas wouldn't... No, he wouldn't...

"Oh...?" Xemnas's voice suddenly sounded even more silky than before, a slight smirk playing about the nobody's face as he watched Xigbar's face as the Freeshooter realized his mistake. "Could you, now...?"
Xigbar had a genuine talent of digging himself an ever-deepening grave....

"Yes, yes I could. IF I wanted to." he said, making the last part of the sentence a point. "And I don't really want to." Though, he DID decide to stick around to see what Xemnas will say. He always found a way to make him do what he wants, and that sucked.

It was clear, from earlier incidents, where Xigbar stood on the matter, but Xemnas was not one to back down. Not when opportunity for yet more revenge had presented itself in a convenient gift-wrapped package complete with shiny plastic bow. "I wonder if that statement even holds validity, Two. You work hard to please yourself alone... were it not for my senority, I wonder if you would ever listen to a soul. But... sometimes I also wonder the validity of that statement for other reasons. After all.. you never did pull away..."
Xigbar made far too much of a reaction to it than any normal person. The sheer force of his recoil, his horror, was as thought-provoking as it was entertaining. Xemnas doubted that anyone else would be that vehemently against it to the point to flee to the nearest bathroom... months later. Awkward pauses, yes... but that was a little much, was it not? He wondered if it was just partly for effect.

His eye narrowed. "You're not gonna mention that, I'll just throw up and be even MORE against you. And plus, I might just throw up on y-... Wait... Superior... Damn. How the hell do you get me to DO these things?" Xigbar frowned, took the present, and carefully unwrapped it. "At least Axel doesn't know. I'd be in a maids outfit by now." He shrugged and looked at was inside.

Xemnas shrugged, but did not press the issue. "And Axel will not... if you cooperate. Besides, fair is fair, is it not?" All that lay in there was a single videotape, unmarked. "You forgot, I assume, that there are surveillance cameras installed? No one ever seems to recall this..."
Never mind that Xemnas alone was the only one who monitored them, and very rarely at that. What mattered was that there was proof - of nearly every rumor - somewhere on those tapes. Xemnas knew Xigbar's love for alcohol, and while he could and did outdrink everyone else, he was quite... entertaining after a while. Few people ever remembered anything done when completely drunk. "You must remember - I have enough on everyone here."

"Not even a gift. THANKS, Xemnas." With a sigh, he looked up, scowling slightly. "So whaddyou want me to do?" he said with a slightly irritated tone. There were two things the Freeshooter hated most in this world. Being bossed around, and authority figures. Being bossed around by authority, though would eventually have been done, really got on his nerves. But, he didn't want to die so he'll just live it out. HOPEFULLY he can live it out.

"Not even a gift? You have yet to watch it. It may prove... educating." Blackmail on the seemingly innocent was currency. "You are, by the way, entirely welcome. As to what I want...? Nothing at the moment. Just a clarification, which I obtained..."
Xemnas watched him, his face, for once, betraying none of his thoughts on the matter...

"Well what is iiit?" Xigbar, once again, gave the Superior a scowl. He was getting a tad impatient.

"Such impatience," the Superior drawled, drawing out the moment for all it was worth. "Although this may ruin your opinion of Number Five... as I said, you have yet to watch it. Where he got that ridiculous outfit, I cannot say."
He said nothing more, but turned, and started off down the halls. He had done what he needed to, and quite a bit he probably didn't need to as well.

"Wha...? OH! More blackmail material. Awesome." Xigbar chuckled. "I think I'm going to have fun with this." With that, he walked off, completely forgetting everything.
